Can Windows Vista interpret bash commands?

Personally, my favorite Unix emulator would have to be putty. I attached the download page to it. Keep in mind though it doesn't have a Unix OS installed, it just allows you to connect to a Unix OS, so you'll have to create one yourself, but the short answer is no, you do not need to make a hybrid OS to use Unix commands on Vista.
