I am planning a trip to Seoul Jan 2-11 from Chicago. Where can I go to get a cheap flight?

I just noticed the non stop flights are over 3K. I'm trying to fly for around 1K and okay with having 1 stop. Where can I go to get a cheap flight from Chicago??? I am seeing my family for the first time.
