Please tell me what to do so that the sugar toppings of my bread will not melt.?

Usually I sprinkle top of my bread with coarse granulated sugar, it is still stay cristalise on the buns, but if you want to make sure it is not melt try sprinkle on your bread when it almost done, take out from oven and applied egg wash and sprinkle coarse sugar. Good luck
